Love Plans
Hi Friends!
My daughter just turned 9 year old a few days ago. To celebrate, I did something different this year by "organizing" 9 surprises for her, to appear at different times of the day. She started the day by getting some clues of her surprises, like; something with wheels (for a pair of wheelies), something stack-y (for a donuts cake), something that's moving (for a horse-back riding gift) and so on.
{This is absolutely not my way to brag}
God spoke to me;
"I can see that you love your daughter very much,
you love to make her full of joy, to see her smile, to surprise her,
you think about her, her wishes, her favorites
you plan it all along
How much more do you think I love her?
How much more do you think I love you?
How much more do you think I love each of my children?"
Because He Loves us so much, God plans our lives
- He engraved you (and me) on the palm of of His hands (Isaiah 49:16)
- He knitted you together (and me) in your mother's womb (Psalm 139:13)
- He planned our lives and will continue to plan our future (Jeremiah 29:11)
His UTMOST plan was sending Jesus Christ to die on the Cross for our sin, so that we will live and not die (after we die), so that we will spend our eternal lives in paradise instead of fiery flame.
Whatever our circumstances are, we need to remember that God loves us and He plans our lives. From the awful realities of the death of a loved one, terminal cancer, bankruptcy, unemployment, incurable disease, injustice, marriage problem to daily realities of misbehaving child, singleness, tiredness, loneliness, we need to TRUST our Lord and Savior.
God in His Sovereignty and God of unfailing Love
"His plan is to prosper us not to harm us" -some of us might not able to see it clearly now but for sure we will be able to understand it when we are in Heaven.
Imagine yourself sitting next to your Heavenly Father and watching your earthly life reality show, the pretty and the ugly. Toward the end of the movie, you will start to see the puzzle pieces together and as a grand finale, your jaw drop down and see a beautiful beyond description painting of your life story.
That's one of the magical moments that you will look forward to.
