Out of Words

Lately, I haven't been writing as I should. June has been one of the toughest months this year. My heart is heavy and I am out of words. 

Why, my soul, are you downcast? 

   Why so disturbed within me? 

Put your hope in God, 

   for I will yet praise him, 

   my Savior and my God.

Psalm 42:5

Nowhere but up 

I fix my eyes on

Nowhere but up 

I turn my head to 

Nowhere but up 

I cry out 

I shout out 

I whisper 

I pour out

God is there 

God is here

He listens 

He knows 

He understands 

He comforts

He collects my tears

He heals

He is for me 

Nowhere but up

My hope is in God
