the planning
the sleepless nights
the tears
the arguments
the toss and turn

sick child
heartbreak
pimples
messy hair
low balance bank account

bad grades
letter of rejection
bankruptcy
bad dream
emotions

what we all see in the social media is rarely the behind-the-scene
the #BTS on instagram is rarely the real messy behind-the-scene
it's been chosen
it's been altered
it's been filtered
it's been cropped
it's been captioned

yet we sometimes forget about it
